The Black Ivy Alumni League is partnering with the Catalyst Network Foundation (CNF) to provide mentoring relationships to their youth and young girls from I Am Woman. Our goal is to provide long term developmental relationships for high school students to motivate and guide them in their career and academic pursuits. We are looking for professionals in all fields. This event will be the first step in the Catalyst Network Foundation Inc. & Black Ivy Alumni League Mentee-Mentor pairing process. Steps following the event will include arranged phone conversations between the Young Professional and Scholar as well as CNF/BIAL Personnel. The official pairing of the Mentee-Mentor will occur (tentatively) on December 8th, 2012 at a scheduled event. The purpose of the bowling event and the pairing process is to align each Scholar with a Mentor that is a trailblazer in the collegiate field and profession in which the Scholar aspires to pursue. Our goal is to collaborate with Mentors that will be a champion and enlightener to the change-agents of the Future!!!! Therefore CNF & BIAL understand that you may RSVP for this event for the sake of having a great time and networking, but we hope that you RSVP for this event with the intention of becoming a Mentor to the next generation. If you have any questions about the Mentee-Mentor matching process, Bowling event, or the expectations of a Mentor, don’t hesitate to reach us at Mentorship@Catalyst-Network.org. We look forward to meeting you at Lucky Strike!! |
